Hi Everyone,
I wanted to talk this week about some tools that will help to get your work out there and that way people will be communicating with you about getting work done. I personally think when you present your work to anybody professionally and clean it will give a better opportunity than anybody else to get the job, gig, etc. As personal experience, I have my portfolio as a Digital Media Producer with a company that has template for making portfolio of any source, its free which is the important part, because when your starting in the entertainment is hard to just pay for a lot of stuff without making any income. That's why I make my portfolio with wix, because they have a lot of templates and they are easy to manipulate as well, and is completely free. I can design my own websites but I prefer this, since I have no income to pay for web host or domain. The websites I have built, you can click HERE to see it, is basic but it represents all the work I have done at school during my two years doing my BFA. You will be able to create a website for free and put your website in Facebook, Twitter, etc. Make sure that you always share a lot your work on the web, be your our social media assistant for your company, who else than you know what is best to show and how to show it out there. Nobody will be able to talk to people about the stuff you love like you will, because is your passion, what you love doing and you live to do. Try to at first use all the social media publishing you can use to share your work and company. Also make your own business cards too and try to give them to people when you talk about it or ask for their address and send them a personal note and your business card and that way they will know your a person who is trying and who is interested in been their designer, photographer, filmmaker, musician, music producer/manager/etc or just somebody to get a job in what you love.
Good Luck,

Experience Of a Lifetime!!! :)
Hello Everyone,
I wanted to share with you my latest experience in the movie industry. A friend from Facebook that I had been talking to, because he owns a little production company where he’s the director, contacted me. He was going to be filming a music video for his friend/client from Full Sail University here in Orlando. She is an actually writes what she sings and I thought it will be an amazing experience and there I was going to be a Production Assistant for the day in my friend’s company “Water Light Multimedia” and it was amazing experience that I will never forget. It was a 12 hours filming experience where I did or perform duties as a messenger, grip, gaffer, playback music, special effects (man made rain), put away team, etc. As a production assistant your there to do anything in you can help with and you’re asked as well. The most amazing part of the music video was mostly the ending of it when we needed to make the rain during the entire music video and just when were about to film the great performance, where Vika (the singer) was performing her song in the street, with a huge panels of bright lights in the background and she needed to getting wet because it was supposed to be raining and that was the most amazing part when it actually rain during the entire performance so we didn’t need to create the rain ourselves and it was just amazing. I had been in other productions as an extra or something like that but this experience was really amazing and I learned a lot and it was an experience of the lifetime. I always say “The sky is the limit” so if you really want something go out there and let yourself know by people, look for people and always ask or volunteer yourself all the time and you’ll see at the end the hard works and the search pays off. The music video is called “Vika-The Rain”.
Thanks for visiting!

Got to meet the best actor ever!
Back at home, in Puerto Rico I got to be an extra for the movie "The Rum Diary" I got selected from the agency I worked for and got to go and film in the movie. It was an amazing experience, because I never though on my life that I was going to see how a movie is filmed and made with my own eyes. The movie was staring Johnny Deep, Amber Heard, Aaron Eckhart and other famous people. I did got cast for an scene where it was representing a carnival, and from there they keep selecting people and i did got two more times for a nightclub and a bar scene. It was amazing, but tiring as well. I decided to skip classes all that time, since it was on April 2010, I was going to college for psychology at this time. I needed to be there a 3 in the morning and from a huge park they drove you to a location where wardrobe was, you get your hair styled, then your clothes, they drive you to the film location and they feed me for breakfast, lunch and diner since we were filming for 18 hours the first day. I went back to cousin house since she live in San Juan and I live in Ponce is almost a two hour drive so I decided to stay in San Juan while I was filming, because got selected for a second time and the second day we filmed for 20 hours and the third day was for like 15 hours. The second day I saw how they converted an abandoned building that look like trash in the outside and mud all over the place, but when you got inside that building, there was an amazing disco from the 60-70's with a/c inside, smoke, music and it looked like you were going back in time and been part of something amazing. Cameras everywhere, the director, producer, choreographer, make up artist spraying water all over your face, learning how to dance like in that time, everything was just amazing and is something that I would never forget my entire life. I got to eat in the same table as Amber Heard and she told us her history on how she got into the movie, the same with Johnny deep I got to see him, shake hands with him and say hi. His one of my favorite actors ever so just be able to say hi is like I was looking to the most famous person ever i had seen in my entire life. I need to say whenever you hear in your life that there's a movie casting extras, it doesn't matter if they get you in camera or not, jump on it and take the risk to be in the movie as an extra is an amazing experience and you get paid amazingly too. So go ahead and take the risk you will have a blast!
